Shrimp and Prosciutto Penne Pasta

I first had this while at the grand floridian cafe at Disney World while unsuccessfully trying to get a claudograph, and have since found the recipe. Its actually really easy to make even for those without very much cooking experience and the end result looks, tastes, and smells like you’re a pro. So that is why it has been decalared KickAss! And as always, feel free to add to, or take away anything. After all, you’re the chef! Enjoy!

1 lb Penne

2 tbsp Olive Oil

1 tbsp Garlic

10 oz Shrimp

1/2 cup Prosciutto, chopped

1/2 cup White Wine

1 cup Heavy Cream

1/2 cup Parmesan, grated

1/4 cup Basil, chopped

1/4 cup Tomato, diced

1) Cook pasta, drain, and keep warm.

2) Warm olive oil in a large skillet. Add garlic, shrimp, and prosciutto, and saute over medium heat for about three minutes, until shrimp are pink and firm.

3) Add white wine and simmer for one minute.

4) Stir in cream and cheese, gently fold in pasta.

5) Garnish with basil and tomatoes.
